It is has been amazing to me how well tables are selling in the age of Covid! We are now sold out of the ST16 series and looking into the holidays with no inventory! Yikes! I have always sold a few tables running up to the holiday season and this one seems no different buy the looks of it. So, if you have bee toying with the idea of buying a tuning table fear not! I am currently working on a batch of 10 and expect that they will be sold out sooner rather than later. I am tak...ing preorders so let me know what you play and or repair via the Talk to Me link at www.masterharp.com and will get one too you well before Christmas. Thank you all for your support over the years! John Ingham - Owner

Masterharp is still alive. Web site is back up. Tables are still being made. Pretty much sold out of the old lines ST14 and 15 this past winter and spring. Yes even during the pandemic folks are interested, sold four tables in the last month even, go figure. I only sell them direct now, keeping it simple from this point forward. Please have a look at www.masterharp.com. FB message or email me by web site link if you have any questions. I have three tables that are pretty much ready to ship with more in the queue but they will be a while depending on demand. If you buy them I'll build them.

Well it happens to the best of us I suppose and it is never fun, but I have to report that our web site www.masterharp.com was subject to a malware attack and will be off line until it is repaired. That will take some time and effort as we do not know precisely when it was effected so backups can not be used. For those that purchased tables via the site your credit card data was not accessible to the attackers as all transactions are handled via a PayPal commerce API. Your e...mail address and phone number were likely exposed so if you are not already mindful of email malware and phishing attacks please be so moving forward. Thank you for your support and patients as I work to rebuild the site. John Ingham Masterharp USA

The 2018 Masterharp Holiday Sale is over but there are still good deals to be had. All prices remain reduced and active members still receive a 10% discount. With that discount several tables will still sell for under $299. Check it out at: https://www.masterharp.com/shop-masterharp... So if you are really serious about repair and customization a Masterharp table needs to be in your hands.

Masterharp Fans, about the future... It truly has been a crazy creative ride with Masterharp these last four years. Yup, it has been that long since Dick Sjoeberg handed me the keys to.his, and now our, labor of love. I am happy to tell that the table still engages me fully. As I move ahead with it all I will be looking more to fans and owners for guidance and direction. I think Dick and I have taken Masterharp as far as makes sense, we need your help now, well me anyway. Yo...u owners know the table in front of you, you know your own skills and practices. I want us all to grow together and am working on the means to make that happen. Expect me to give you the opportunity to spur Masterharp forward and steer us in the right direction from this point and into the future. How to do this? Well, the internet is a marvel of course, in many ways indeed, and super fertile ground for community building. What I would like to do for us is use that tremendous resource to build a community around tuning. There is so much to know and get right! Building a shared body of knowledge around the use of the Sjoeberg table and other tuning techniques and resources will be the goal. I know many of you have a will to share your knowledge and experience. We mean to collect, curate and index as much of that wisdom as makes sense. We / I need to get it all out there so we can all grow as players and customizers. It ain't easy all that needs to be done to keep these harps in tune that is for sure. I think we should try to make it easier somehow. So, from me, for my part, in the next few months expect more communication and community building. In any case I for one, am determined to know how you are doing. Expect communication from me minimally, I look forward to it and hope you do too! John Ingham - Masterhap

Nedra Russ was kind enough to record and post the interview she did with me and the tuning tables at SPAH this last week (Aug 2016) It was the last day as I was just packing up. Be sure to check out her other SPAH interviews and her cool harmonica centric jewlery, cards, CDs and etc, too much fun! Great job Harmonica Lady!

I am truly impressed with the folks here at SPAH, all so talented and supportive of me, Masterharp and Sjoeberg tuning tables. Very happy to be here and learning so much. This afternoon Brendon Power and Buddy Greene did an impromptu rehearsal just north of my booth which was a pretty fun break from my otherwise non-stop telling of the Masterharp story. Tonight is another main stage show with a boat load of harmonica talent and then one final day of harmonica wonderfulness and then a Sunday return to home base... tired but very glad I came.

All, Masterharp is headed to SPAH 2016, 9-13 August. Please come by our booth and say hello, I would love to meet you. I will be working with and demonstrating the table at the booth as much as possible and will have a tuner you can use to do some tuning yourself. I will also have a limited number of tables to sell with an attendee discount. If you do buy one at SPAH you will save a considerable amount in shipping as you will be carrying your table out of there. There migh...t be a tax savings for you as well depending on where you live. Anyway, please come and share you tuning experience with me. I would love to know what you are doing to keep your harps in tune, table or not! Lastly I will be introducing the next version of the tuning table there and have a few cool freebies to giveaway. Please come on by and check it all out. Looking forward always... Sjoeberg Tuning Table People! I finally got this last batch of tables done, gto quite sick in the middle of it all and as a one man band it was tough to meet my own deadline, missed it in fact. But! These guys (and gal!) were so generous and encouraging, really made my life easier, I drive myself crazy TRYING to get them out the door... Again as a One Man Band, it is hard. That said I will share with you that I am currently roosting in a very cool shop in Oakland. My friend G...reg Gemin of Gemin Fabrication has been very generous too. Seems that there are more than a few folks out there that want to see these tables made in a predictable manner. As I might have said that is a major goal his year, y'all deserve it!. Gregs' place has what I need to really get it all done in an organized manner, CNC vertical machining center, CNC wood router and very soon not one but two laser etcher / cutting machines. Very glad to be a part of that crew / team. Thank you Greg!! Soon I will be producing the ST16 which will be different in some ways and hold all of the same features of the ST15 and ST14 as far as sound goes but it will be so much easier to assemble. The valve system has been a bear to stablize. Finally I believe we, Dick and I have engineered a system that will be stable across a wide range of environments. Another thing that the ST16 will bring is, with a simple upgrade, easy change out to master (double) reed plate plate tuning. What that does for Masterharp is make production so much simpler, one base with dual function vs the current two the single ST15S and double ST15M. Anyway, that's what's on my mind here this evening. Looking forward always... John Ingham Masterharp USA

My harmonica tuning friends! Greetings from The Silent One! For those that might be curious, running this business is crazy complicated! I am though, very grateful for the sales to date and at this point even have a small backlog, that is good problem but a problem nevertheless. My goal this spring is to get ahead of the production curve once and for all. These days I am hard at work every day making that happen. To that end and thanks to a very generous friend of mine, I no...w have access to a full shop and all the equipment I need to take Masterharp to the next level, I am very happy about that. What is coming this year other than improved production you might ask? Well one thing I will tell is that within the tuning table is a whole lot of magic and tuning science that you need to know. To that end Dick and I have managed, over the last year, to document many of the cool things you can do with the Sjoeberg Tuning Table. That will be coming soon and to registered users and tuning table owners first via www.masterharp.com. Anyway, along with that I am going to try my best to improve my communication with all tuning table owners, put out more instructional video, perhaps hold a virtual owners meeting. Who knows, so many possibilities these days. Anyway enough of me for the moment, for Dick and Masterharp thank you for the read and support. John Ingham Masterharp USA
