REOPENING THE MASJID Assalaamu Alaikum Sisters and Brothers, We pray for your, your family and friends’ good health during this pandemic. ... The Los Angeles County Department of Health issued a protocol to reopen. http://publichealth.lacounty.gov//Reopening_PlacesofWorshi The six-page document covers these five key areas that must be addressed and provides steps for implementation. (1) Workplace policies and practices to protect staff/volunteer health (2) Measures to ensure physical distancing (3) Measures to ensure infection control (4) Communication with staff, volunteers and worshipers (5) Measures to ensure equitable access to critical services. Due to resource limitations and the small volunteer team, Masjid Al-Fatiha is unable to open at this time. What does the Masjid need to reopen? YOU Can you help purchase and/or source the required supplies? Can you come help prepare the building spaces? Can you commit time to be trained to assist when the Masjid reopens?
