A message to all my Trailer Family We all love and enjoy Martha & Rick’s homemade ice cream... Rick purchased a Hit & Miss motor, that he has been restorin...g, to bring to rallies and make ice cream for us all to enjoy. There has been a little hitch in the process, and this is where we can all help out. This machine takes a 20 quart ice cream bucket, and the cost of this bucket is $1300.00. Rick has been looking for a used one for 5yrs with no luck. I thought it would be a great idea for all of us to pitch in and get this purchased for them and all of us to enjoy. I started collecting at the Felton Rally, and we are on the way. So if you see this flier at a rally on Martha’s table, feel free to pitch in. Any amount will help us reach our goal. a note from a customer, back a while, Hey there! I just wanted to write and tell you how much I appreciate your standard of workmanship. We purchased our awning for Moosee about 8 yrs ago. Not only is it still in great shape, it cleans up GREAT! I do have a question. What would you suggest as a coating ( if any) for it? We finally broke down and washed it, and I see in Google there are products to use, but I wondered if you had a recommendation. Thanks for all you do!... Well this is what you do when you have a really nice Sunbrella fabric and run into a long flaw. You make a dozen tote bags out of it. Usually we make them from left over edges of this great fabric, but today was different. These bags are for sale as well as many more. They sell for 5.00 each. Hi. I haven’t posted for quite a while. Winter is always a bit slower for all of us campers. So we’ve been busy in the shop making a product that helps us use some of the small pieces of leftover Sunbrella fabrics we have accumulated. For those of you that catch me at rallies you are familiar with the great tote bags we sell from that awesome fabric. These measure approximately 18 x 18 with very sturdy nylon webbing long 24 handles. These are great for groceries and much m...ore. A picture of an awning I made for my tear drop. I installed an awning rail as I installed the hurricane hinge as I built the trailer But some folks add an awning rail to the bottom edge of the galley lid. Adds some nice shade or shelter while cooking.

Well, facebook is telling me that I haven't posted for a while,, busy, busy busy, here!,,This season marks 10 years in business for Marti's Awnings!! I have met the greatest folks and look forward to meeting many more.. As we all feel the weather changing it only reminds us that campiing season is near!! I have a few rallies planned for the early spring, as I know it will be very busy in the awning shop, the further into the season we get. Wow, just returned from Boot Camp, Lodi California through Vintage Camper Trailers, where I got to discuss many things about vintage trailer awnings, I met some very nice folks, some already had my awnings and I got to put a face with the name, (That's fun for me) Others had bought a trailer that came with a Marti's awning and wanted to introduce themselves, Thanks for that! Boot Camp was amazing and very well organized. If you are thinking about doing your own restoration or just spiffing up your old rig, You could pick up a lot of tips and tricks from the professionals teaching classes, Look for Boot Camp 2018, I am sure you will be impressed! There is something there for everyone!
