I’m sure you’ve all heard of whale shark season, but how about bull shark season? From November to March these pregnant mamas visit the Riviera Maya (just off Playa) for their breeding season. They are attracted to the fresh water that comes from the cenotes. Unfortunately they are too deep (80ft) to snorkel with, so diving is the only way to see them. If you are Advanced OW Diver or equivalent, it could be something cool/unique for you. I have a great diving company we work with.
