Put a strategic PR plan in place! Set realistic goals and objectives. PR goals drive business objectives and maximize a company’s performance. Developing a PR plan pushes you to better understand your target audience, key messages, and the platforms and tactics that will help you reach your goals and objectives. Once you have a PR plan in place, stick to it and measure its performance.
"Okay, I'm going to share my screeeeen." "You're on mute!" "Oops. Sorry. I'm sharing my screen. Can you see that?" "Which page?" "Page 6."... "That font is so tiny." "Try getting closer to the screen!" "Can you see it now?" See more
In the spirit of GivingTuesday our team would like to share the organizations that we proudly support throughout the year. On this Tuesday, and every Tuesday, we are thankful for the positive change these organizations help to bring our community. Who are you supporting this Giving Tuesday?
Sing off the same sheet of music! Identify your organization’s top three key messages and make sure everyone in the organization, from the receptionist to the CEO, is singing off the same sheet of music. Key messages are bite-sized points you want your audience to understand and remember. It’s what you do, why you do it and the value you bring.
We give thanks today and everyday for all the blessings in our lives.
T'was the night before Thanksgiving, and all through the place, was a cozy warm fire and our own tube of toothpaste! Identify your target audience! Who are you trying to influence, sell to or partner with? Let’s be real...not everyone under the sun is likely interested in your product or service. By having a clear picture of who your target audience is, you will have the tools to more effectively message, communicate and influence them.
As a family, do you like to send and receive holiday cards? As a brand, do you monitor the content of your holiday messaging and remove calls to action? And finally - as people - do we acknowledge the 2020 fire storm in our holiday greetings? Krista and Kayla dissect all things holiday cards!
Can we get a drum roll, puh-lease?! Happy birthday to our web wizard, Karen Wulff! A core part of our team, Karen gives us cool girl swag, slays the web design game, makes our client websites look *chef's kiss* and never misses a chance to shower everyone around her with kindness. May you be spoiled on your special day with a jam on the drums, a sweet ride along the trails and overflowing plates of cupcakes. We love you, Karen. Happy birthday!
SOCIAL MEDIA TIPS | General page housekeeping doesn't sound sexy, but it's a necessity. Your social presence is a reflection of your brand and if you look unorganized, your brand will suffer too. Take account of all platforms you currently use (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat) and ensure proper use of your style guide, a consistent bio listed on each, matching URLs and similar photography. This helps your audience recognize you across all platforms. Ready for extra credit? Go through your old photos and graphics and delete the ones that no longer resonate or aren't up to snuff. Blurry, outdated, old logo, different hair color in a photo? Delete.
Veterans Day is a time for us to recognize those who have served and to stand united in respect for our veterans. Today, the MarketSharePR team celebrates and honors America's veterans for their patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. We would like to extend a special thanks to our own fearless leader, U.S. Navy veteran Krista Bernasconi, for answering the call to serve. We salute you.
SOCIAL MEDIA TIPS | Take a "you scratch my back, I scratch yours" approach and throw a bone to one of your vendors, clients or neighbor businesses on your social media page. Give them a review, tag them in a project they helped you with or highlight them in a post or newsletter. Not only will you strengthen a partnership or develop a friendship, you're likely to gain new, relevant followers from their page.
