Those of you that have been in the business a long time will remember the name Barbara Tyler an absolute superstar in Menlo Park and Atherton. Marketing Designs owes Barbara a great deal as once we started doing her marketing fulltime (in 1993), we really took off. She remains one of my dearest, most cherished friends today. She was a rock star then and she still is today, even though she’s been out of real estate for years. Originally a teacher, she has honed those skills ...in some recent videos. This is her latest just released last weekend where she shares 10 Habits of Success. She has been passionate about helping others achieve their goals and while this is not specific to the real estate industry, it is the foundation of her climb to the absolute top in this incredibly competitive industry. The principles still apply today no matter who you are or what you do. If you have a minute (or 37 to be precise), this is worth watching. Enjoy. See more

With items like these, you know a classic vintage home is in the works and coming soon by one of our great clients in Hillsborough. Flocked wallpaper, pencil sharpener, that cash register! Oh, and green shag carpet. Such relics. Such history and kind of sad walking through and thinking about who used to live there. Will bring great joy to the next generation I'm sure.

Finally. Thank you Inman for acknowledging what we have known for 27 years. Direct mail is alive and well and actually never died. Perhaps that explains why we mailed 79,000+ pieces out of our shop just last week.
