When I first ran for office four years ago, I made a promise to Imperial Beach residents that we would find a way to make sure the water at our beach is tested every day. I am proud to say that promise has been kept. This past weekend, the County Department of Environmental Health began daily testing of nine locations spanning from just north of the border, all the way to Avenida Lunar in Coronado. Making sure the water is safe is critical to protecting public health and our quality of life. Tomorrow is Election Day! If you know someone who hasn't voted, please encourage them to do so by dropping off their ballot at the Imperial Beach Branch Library anytime from 7:00AM - 8:00PM. If they need any assistance getting to the polls, contact me directly and we'll get them a ride. Let's get out the vote!

Next Tuesday, November 3rd is Election Day - but you don't have to wait until then to vote! The Imperial Beach Branch Library is our official ballot drop-off location and is open every day through Election Day. This is one of the most important elections of our lives, so let's get those votes in, IB! Ballot Drop-off details... Drop-off Hours: 10AM - 4PM through November 2nd Election Day Drop-off Hours: 7AM - 8PM (November 3rd only) If you or someone you know has questions about how to vote, send me a direct message and we will get them the answers they need. *Ballots mailed by November 3rd in the pre-addressed, postage-paid return envelope will be accepted, but may delay election results. We encourage you to vote by the drop-off option described above.
