Whether you're feeling stumped by all the food and litter options, aren't sure how to coax out a shy kitten, or need a rambunctious kitten to get their little razor claws in check, this workshop can help. The next virtual workshop is coming up this Thursday, November 12, so save your spot ASAP! We'll be meeting safely via Zoom so there's no need to leave your comfy couch. Say hi to Ozzie, our senior Pittie sweetheart! It's Adopt a Senior Animal Month, so this would be the perfect time to find this 13-year-old fellow his new forever home. Ozzie is a pretty low-maintenance guy. He doesn't need a lot of exercise and would actually prefer NOT to go on walks. Just some time spent in a secure backyard should be plenty for him, especially if it includes lounging in the sun and rolling in the grass! He's also a big fan of soft beds, tasty treats, a...nd plenty of pets from his people. Another reason Ozzie doesn't need walks: he's really not wild about his fellow canines. With his limited vision and hearing, he can find himself surprised by the arrival of other dogs when strolling the the neighborhood, so it's best to avoid those walks altogether. On the flip side, Ozzie has lived with plenty of cats in his life and would probably be fine living with a dog-savvy cat. Let's get this good boy into a great home for his golden years! If you're interested in Ozzie or want to know more about him, you can reach our adoptions department at 415-506-6225 or email us here: https://bit.ly/3e2tzfL. You can also find Ozzie's full profile here: https://bit.ly/3k60jGy. #AdoptASeniorPetMonth #AdoptASeniorPet

Meet Pluto! Pluto was adopted back in March as a kitten but, unfortunately, his family's living situation changed and so he finds himself back at Marin Humane looking for a new home. Pluto is a bit shy but once you start petting him, he'll lean in for chin scratches and cheek rubs - awwwww! He's experienced a lot of change recently, so just take it slow and be patient with him. He may hide at first, but once he's comfortable, Pluto has a lovely purr and loves some attention. He's even starting to enjoy a fun mouse wand toy! Pluto has only lived indoors, so we think an indoor only home with older, gentle kids would be a great fit. Sound like your home? Give us a call at 415-506-6225 or email us here: https://bit.ly/3e2tzfL. Check out his profile on our site here: https://bit.ly/3eoGaKI.

Anton is a shy little guy looking for lots of love and plenty of patience in his new home. A quiet environment, an understanding and gentle adopter, and a slow, steady routine will help this 8-year-old fellow learn to trust and gain a bit of confidence in this big, wide world. After all, when you're just over 6 pounds, everything can feel a bit overwhelming and intimidating! Anton is doing great in his foster home where he's getting braver and braver on his leash walks and en...joying lots of cuddles. His foster family says he's very good at meeting other dogs politely but doesn't seem too interested in engaging with them beyond a brief hello. Mostly he wants love from his people! Want to know more about Anton or interested in bringing this sweet boy home? You can reach us at 415-506-6225 or by email here: https://bit.ly/3e2tzfL. You can also find his full profile on our site here: https://bit.ly/34YQMwV.

Another great reminder to make sure your pets are wearing identification and are microchipped! Thanks, Marin County Sheriff's Office. We're so glad Honey is home!
