MSS Eureka will be conducting their Combat Fitness Test(CFT) tomorrow, July 21, at the Eureka High School Track. This is a physical test to examine and rate a Marine Corps Recruit Poolee’s strength and endurance. The test consists of a series of physical skills including deadman’s drag, fireman’s carry, ammo can sprints and other physical exercises and challenges while quickly moving through a timed obstacle course. MSS Eureka is issuing a challenge to anyone wanting to participate in our CFT with us. Do you have what it takes to meet the challenge? The Future Marines of Eureka, their Family and local Veterans came together for a Family Day Cookout and Celebration. The Future Marines got a glimpse of the traditional Marine Corps Birthday Celebration cutting of the cake shared between the oldest and youngest Marine present.

Saturday, January 13, 2018 - Fortuna High School It was an Honor working with Heather Vonglakhone of the Veterans Resource Centers of America and the staff and students of Fortuna High School this past weekend who were accepting donations for the Local Area Veterans. The Future Marines had a great time helping collect all the donations that were dropped off at the school that day. With in a few hours there were 3 truckloads full of donations. Thank you to the Future Marines and their friends who volunteered that Saturday. Your help made the event a huge success.

Say HELLO to Our 3 Newest FUTRUE MARINES: Chris Landergen: He has been training with the Future Marine Program for over a year and is excited about becoming a Marine. Mark & Daniel Mctague: These two brothers will be going to bootcamp on what is called the "Buddy Program". It allows them to stay together throughout the Recruit Training process.

Thank you Coaches and Players of the Fortuna High Huskies Football Team for having the Marine Corps and its Future Marines hold a Combat Fitness Test event at your school on October 24, 2017.
