Ocean is like a lake this morning So flat & beautiful out
Nothing better than being on the water when the weather is perfect, the ocean is flat, and a fin whale cow/calf pair comes by to visit! Curious little calf came by the boat for a very close look, thrilling everyone with the sound of his blow. Mom also did a close swim by the boat, showing off her massive size. Magic. Thank you Capt. Nic Robbins
Pair of FIN whales this morning Call the office to get on the boat 3108223625

11/14/2020 - Saturday morning's 10 AM excursion enjoyed flat seas and sunshine as we ventured out onto the deeper waters of the Santa Monica canyon.
10/26/2020 - Monday morning's trip started out quickly with a Coastal Bottlenose sighting in the Main Channel. Common Dolphin pod in the deep waters of the Santa Monica canyon had a number of calves frolicking through the swells. Santa Ana winds picked up turning our options to the birds: Surf Scoter squadron in flight.
This adorable young common dolphin zipped around the Matt Walsh yesterday with his Mama while we watched with pure delight. Never ever gets old. Thank you Capt. Nic Robbins for a joyful dolphin encounter once again.
Commons and coastal bottlenose on the Monday morning Even got a quick look at a sea turtle too
4/21/2018 - FIN Whale interacting with Offshore Bottlenose Dolphins
10/24/2020 - Saturday morning's excursion south along the coast passed the #ElSegundoOffshoreAnchorage where the Sause Bros. fuel barge and tugboat Mikiona were moored. Common Dolphins and cormorants were feeding in the area. Reported Fin Whale eluded us.
Some of our dolphin friends from Saturday afternoon

10/22/2020 - Thursday's excursion out on Santa Monica bay encountered scattered pods of Common Dolphins both inshore off Marina del Rey and in the deeper water of the canyon -- over a thousand opportunities for leaping, tail slapping and speed runs!
10/22/2020 - California Sea Lions hauled out at #BurtonChacePark were a little rowdy. (What can you expect from teenagers?) Great day out on the bay with a big finish!

10/12/2020 - Columbus Day morphs into Indigenous People Day and, however you choose to celebrate your holiday, enjoy the beautiful weather and flat seas in the company of Common Dolphins.
