It's that time of year for giving. Marigold Farms, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization has created a campaign this year with Seed Money to raise funds for our Community Support Program. Did you know that all programs at Marigold Farms are free for everyone? We want to make sure that everyone has a chance to learn how to grow healthy organic produce at home, at their community garden, or at their school. The Community Support Program allows us to provide produce, seedlings, se...eds, chicken manure, compost, as well as other farm products to the community. We are looking to reach a goal of $2500 by December 15th and we hope that all of you will help us out, any amount helps. It's also an amazing amount of help if you could share this post with friends, families, and FB groups. To learn more about our Seed Money campaign please click the link below. We are giving away 10 mini worm composting bins to those in the community who have small space gardens. These are great for kids and adults to learn and utilize the benefits of worm composting. We will post later this week how to sign up and where you can pick up a free bin. Bins include bedding, red wigglers, food scraps, and compost. We will also provide a small handout to keep your bin thriving. If you are interested in donating to Marigold Farms mini worm bin program it'...s only $15 per bin. Donations help us to provide more bins to the community. For more information please feel free to contact us. #gardening #garden #seedlings #plants #nature #gardenlife #ojai #growyourown #gardener #organicgardening #gardens #plantsofinstagram #growyourownfood #gardeninspiration #homesteading #wormcomposting #organic #compost #cress #plant #homegrown #vermicompost #venturacounty #nonprofit #farming #organicfarming #agriculture #womeninagriculture #foodrevolution #agroecology

Marigold Farms is giving away 10 mini worm compost bins to the Ventura County community. If you are interested in a bin please email us at [email protected] today and we will put you on our list for pick up. When we have a bin available we will email you to arrange a pick up time, all pick ups will be in Ojai, CA. Bins include bedding, worms, and some produce to get things started. We will email you a pdf on how to take care of your bin. These bins are great for those interested in reducing food waste and don't have much room for a large composting system. You will also receive a small seed packet of cilantro with your bin. #venturacounty #composting #wormcompost #vermicompost #farm #garden #free #giveaway #community
