So thrilled to be getting back into the kitchen to cook for all of you beginning this Friday 2/5! We will be offering an A La Carte menu of our signature favorites including Filet Au Poivre + Coq Au Vin, along with some seasonal dishes such as a poached pear salade and pork belly confit! Don’t forget Chef Amelia’s Apple Brown Butter Gateau or Paris-Brest for dessert! This week’s 4-course curbside dinner packages will feature a seafood-focused menu including Smoked Salmon and Seared Rare Diver Scallops & Shrimp Risotto! Thank you all so much for your patience we have appreciated all the calls and emails and we’re elated to share that we will be resuming outdoor dining and curbside takeout beginning Friday, February 5th! Reservations will be taken over the phone beginning next Wednesday (2/3) at noon by calling 714-434-7900. Limited reservations will be also be available via @opentable next Wednesday. To our valued guests: we are so very sorry to say, but COVID has made its way to the Marché Moderne team and therefore, we will be temporarily closed, effective immediately. The safety of our staff and guests is always paramount, now more than ever. Out of an abundance of caution, we will cease all current operations, including New Year’s Eve orders. We are so terribly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We will re-open when we are able to. On behalf of our team, Amel...ia and I want to thank everyone for the generous support during such a tumultuous year for restaurants and so many small businesses. We have been buoyed with wonderful encouragement from our longtime guests while we pivoted to takeout and have been so touched by the kind emails and comments, it has truly kept us going. THANK YOU. Treat yourself tonight to our curbside to-go dinners we have an a la carte menu as well as a 4-course prix-fixe menu (viewable via our website). Just a reminder we will be closed Mon-Wed and will re-open for NYE dinner box pickups on Thursday! Thanksgiving may be a bit different this year but that doesn’t mean it should be any less delicious of an occasion. Let chefs Florent, Amelia and team at Marché Moderne prepare sumptuous dinners for you and your family with everything you need for a special Thanksgiving feast to enjoy at home. Each luxe dinner box serves four guests for $395. Pre-orders now available! Orders can be placed from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday by calling the restaurant at 714-434-7900. Last call for orders will be 4 p.m. Monday, November 23rd. Curbside pickup will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, November 26th. Please note there is limited availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

Thank you Orange County Register Brad A Johnson for including us in the Best Places to Eat Guide for 2020! Marché Moderne, easily the finest French restaurant in Orange County, rolled out a three-course dinner (four courses if you count the amuse bouche) packaged for curbside pickup. The menu changes weekly and hasn’t been repeated. One week featured duck confit. Another, it was braised lamb à l’orange, and the week after that seared scallops and shrimp with lemongrass an...d coconut curry tossed with hand-rolled linguini. I missed out on all three of those, but I managed to snag the braised veal shank with mushroom and tomato risotto along with honey panna cotta with rhubarb compote for dessert. L’ automne est la! Fall is here and this captures fall succulence on a plate: Noisette of hickory-smoked pork tenderloin, jus de Calvados & crème de celery et celery confit. The sauce simmers with Calvados and the pork tenderloin is lightly smoked, then roasted for a perfectly mouthwatering dish order it for dinner this week!
