Greetings! Broadening my reach to deliver warm thoughts and a little holiday spirit as we move into the the new year! In processing what to say, I kept falling back on my two most recent projects. Although both unique, they delivered similar messages of ‘Gratitude and Reflection’. The image here, created for one of the projects, resonates with me in a powerful waywhile aware of the global situation, it’s a heartfelt nostalgic glimpse into more peaceful times.... The overarching concept stems from the definition of ‘Fallow’ [farmland plowed and harrowed but left unsown for a period of time in order to restore its fertility as part of a crop rotation or to avoid surplus production]. For me, it is an important reminder to take a moment for pause and reflection. As we move into the New Year, I’m encouraged knowing that you’ll be right there with me. Take time to reflect, grieve our struggles, rejoice in our resolve to prosper, and give yourself the gift of hope and positivity for 2021 and beyond. Gratefully yours, Marc

From infancy to adulthood, we are all influenced, taught particular ways of doing things, how to behave, what path to follow, and so much more. These influences come from so many in our lives but it starts with our parents. As a father of a teenager, I'm feeling especially grateful that my parents were grounded in the belief that caring for others, being a good person, and keeping an open mind would set you down the right path. I was also influenced by the work they did as independent artist.... thanks Mom and Dad!
