OK fans, it's Monday, which must mean it's time for BFDR's version of Sick Sad World. This is Kaiser. Kaiser is a Great Pyrenees who has suffered a catastrophic... injury. As you can see, Kaiser has some seriously bad injuries to his front left leg. He was hit by a car and he was found by the side of the road. According to the vet, the injuries were several days old. This dog lived with that kind of an injury on the side of a road for days before he got help. Thank God for the nice lady who got him triaged when he was found because I doubt this dog would have made it much longer without severe infection setting in. What kills me is that no one stepped up to help him for days as he laid by the road. What kind of world do we live in? To those who stepped up to save Kaiser, you have our thanks. To those that drove past and did nothing, I hope your conscience keeps you awake at night. Kaiser is safe and sound now and he is being treated. He is undergoing wound therapy which he is not fond of, but he tolerates. He is going to have to address long term orthopedic concerns once the wounds are healed. Since we are the Johnny Dangerously of dog rescue (sorry Johnny, your ma needs a new liver. It's going to cost you twenty grand), this dog's injuries are not coming at the opportune time for us, but you do not say no to a dog in this condition, particularly one who offers to kiss you while laying on the floor looking like a hunk of meat. If you would like to donate to help us repair Kaiser, you can donate here: http://bigfluffydogs.com/pay-online.php. I expect he will be adoptable around Christmas, so those interested should stay tuned.

Ok guys, we have a little bit more than 2 months until the March. We are very excited to meet all the new activists attending, and to see all of the activists that came out last time! I know next month we're going to organize a Sign Making "Party"/Get Together for all activists that would like to get to know one another a little better before we all march together... I know a lot of cities/chapters are doing it as well. Also, E.A.G.L.E. members, my mom and I would LOVE to wo...rk with you guys for this upcoming march since you all were a HUGE part of the last one... feel free to message me for more info.. Any questions, my loves?
