Every eligible voter should have their voice heard & their vote counted. As more people vote nationwide by mail this year, it may take longer for local election administrators to count every vote. Additional time and patience is necessary to ensure the rigorous checks and balances that protect the fairness and accuracy of our elections can take place.
With higher numbers of absentee ballots this year, it may take more time to count all the votes. We may not know the final election results on election night this year. But that’s OK. Counting every vote is more important than speedy election results. Election Night Results Night!

When influential @Facebook accounts attempt to intimidate, suppress, and deceive voters, the damage is often done long before their posts are removed. You wouldn’t want TSA checking bags once the plane is already in the airby then it’s too late. When it comes to protecting our elections from lies, screening for misinformation BEFORE content goes live just makes sense. Sign our petition demanding Facebook require human review for election related with a voter protection preclearance policy.
Don't let anyone confuse you. #VoteByMail is secure and tried & tested. Every mail ballot is unique to the voter, with specific barcodes. There are checks & balances in place to count the ballots. In most states, voters can track the status of their ballot online. #CountEveryVote
"Facebook has proven itself both unwilling and incapable of creating and enforcing content moderation policies that limit the spread of deceptive and harmful information that undermines our elections. But those decisions shouldn’t be subject to the whims of private companies more concerned with their business interests than democratic values to begin with. That’s why we need Congress to enact clear laws that limit the spread of online disinformation, such as H.R. 1." -- Ann Ravel, Digital Deception Project Director at MapLight
