We have some updates... Dear Friends of MANA + PUA , We are prepared to host our Ohana during this next phase of keeping ourselves and customers safe. Below is an update of how you can shop with us safely and legally based off the criteria we meet with the State and County of Monterey for both locations - The Lanai at MANA + PUA and the Bottle Shop. If and when Monterey County orders another round of shut downs and closes down certain aspects of business, be assured are prepa...red to keep our doors open. A FEW FACTS: MANA + PUA is considered an essential business by the Monterey County Health Department because of our licensing as a Restaurant/Deli. In the case of another "shut down" we will need to cease service outdoors and indoors, however can keep our doors as an "essential" restaurant offering take out food and bottle shop retail sales ONLY. With the state of CA - our ABC Liquor License is a TYPE 42 - which is far different from a winery, tasting room, bar and restaurant license. This type of license is for on + off premise sales - which means we are considered a RETAILER and can indeed offering RETAIL sales only. We are legally protected and allowed to keep our doors open and operating and plan to do so safely. Hours may become limited over the holiday but we will always keep you posted. THE LANAI Retail stores will allowed to be remain open with limited capacity. This will NOT be a problem to monitor at the door and only allow up to 4 customers to shop at one time. This should not be a problem for us either. We will keep our doors open as a small business bringing Aloha to your Family and under the Christmas Tree this year. At any time, BOTH stores will always be open for curbside pick up, online and phone orders and will happily go back to deliveries inside the MRY county limits. No problem! We have plenty employees ready, willing and able to work.
