Hi Mamute Family! In the past we have supported the local schools in our community by organizing backpack and supply drives in anticipation of the new school year. A heart breaking reality that is happening all over. Our academy and helping with your journey is my life’s work. I’ve spent many years on the mat learning and teaching. I don’t have my college degree; but it takes around 10 years to get the black. It took me 6 years. I am not in a profession that most consider to be prestigious like a doctor, scientist, or architect; but I do have a world championship. I didn’t start teaching to make a lot of money and I’m glad that I didn’...t have those wishes because we don’t; but I know I’m rich in other ways. I guarantee you that any Professor will tell you that helping you grow, watching you move to the next belt, yelling at you in tournaments and guiding the kids is all they ever wanted to do. I feel for the people that had this ripped away because of this virus. I’ve heard a lot of people say- well they should have saved more, they should have run their business better and so on. Not everyone who is having issues staying in business created them by being irresponsible. Some have just had horrible luck. Or a difficult situation that no one knew about. It could be you, it could be me. Have some compassion and kindness- it costs you nothing to give. See you soon. Are you ready? -Professor Bruno

Missing the kids

We sure did not picture Professor Bruno teaching this way but we are making the best of it! Classes are fun, a great way to see each other, get some exercise, and learn new positions.
