It’s been a while since I’ve done any climbing in the Yosemite high country, but this summer has provided the perfect opportunity to relish in old memories of living in Tuolumne. West Ridge of Mt. Conness. Have you been getting out this summer?

With the many changes and challenges we’re encountering, it is a huge privilege to be able to run the event this year. While this year will not be the bigger call to arms that we’ve seen in the past, we do have space for a few of our newest friends and community members. The goal of this event is to build community, inclusion and friendships that inspire each other. The climbing is just a fun excuse to gather in one of the greatest places I’ve ever known. If you are a veteran or know a veteran who would be interested, please share this! This event is completely free for participants! Happy 5.14 day!

Just an update if anyone is curious as what we’re up to. We, like many other businesses in the Eastern Sierra, decided a few weeks ago to shut down while we collectively work through this challenging set of problems we’re seeing not only in our small towns but on a global scale as well. We are hoping the best for everyone during this difficult time and we truly miss having the opportunity to connect with you guys right now. But we fully look forward to a not so distant future where we can all get out and enjoy the wilderness together. We’ll be offering a lot of new trips and courses once things go back to normal. We’ll keep you in the loop as best we can. Take care everyone!

Weather has been perfect for mountain climbing lately. We had a pleasant and full day on the North Couloir of Mt. Humphreys yesterday. I think Humphreys is one of my favorite summits.
