Update: The City of Malibu announced Charmlee and Trancas parks would be closed Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 2627 due to Red Flag conditions. --- The National Weather Service wrote the high wind and low humidity set to begin late Sunday night would bring "the most critical Red Flag fire weather conditions in #Socal we have seen since Oct 2019."
A one-day-only "flex" Vote Center is open today (Saturday) at the Michael Landon Center in Malibu Bluffs Park, until 6 p.m. As of about 3:30 p.m., the center was totally empty with no line to get in.
