2019 Robotics competition - Zombie Exterminator Montague Park (April, 2019) Our afterschool program students gathered to compete in the "Zombie Exterminator" competition. Hands to everyone worked very hard for the past year since September 2018.

Sunnyvale, CA - 130 teams competed at the Juniper Aspiration Dome. 8 teams were invited to represent Team USA at the International Finals in Hungary

Our high school robotics team won the 1st place (Sumobot category) in Roborave California 2019!!! They designed, built, and programmed an autonomous robot that can push one or more opponent sumo robot(s) off an elevated wrestling ring. Challenges must go on! Makaboom robotics team, "The K Destroyers", will join Roborave North America 2019 in Albuquerque, New Mexico next week to compete against students from all around the world! Keep your fingers crossed for us.

One of our founder, Jiyoung is running STEM education center in Tanzania, Africa. Peter, senior software engineer working in the bay area, volunteered to visit Arusha, Tanzania to train their teachers for a week. MaKaboom is proud to provide teaching materials & teacher training to support the effort to introduce robotics and programming to more people. During the three day Mindstorm Thanksgiving week camp...students learn basic components of robotics and were able to compete in 2018 WRO competition, Food Matters.
