In light of the horrific news of the murder of George Floyd at the hands of Minnesota police, and countless other acts of police violence and brutality against black Americans, a group of recently-graduated alumni from FUHS (and others) organized a poster wall in front of City Hall and the Fullerton Police Station, (at Amerige Park) to gain greater attention of local police and public officials. So grab a glass and join us for opening night. This week we bring you Priscilla Moreno! Priscilla is an artist and illustrator. She creates paintings and sculptures, and mainly utilizes watercolor and ink. Her work is inspired by bossa nova music, retro fashion, and old films. She combines these influences with the... people she sees and the eccentricities she observes to tell stories about characters from the world she creates. Her goal is to capture the beauty of her day-to-day life, and create a trip into a world of high fashion, comedy, jazz, and elegant fragrances. Mark your calendars for Hibbleton Gallery’s annual holiday art fair on December 6th! This year, we’lll be popping up at FLDWRK Fullerton in the historic Chapman Building in Downtown Fullerton. Our fair will feature a number of local artists displaying and selling their unique and creative wares! There will also be live music, holiday refreshments, and lots of good cheer! 6-9:30pm during the Downtown Fullerton Art Walk. Featured artists include: Myra Bryan, Syd Middleton, Casey McCann, Terry Orr, Jessica Morris Boehme, Kelsey Hawthorne, Heidi Moreno, Jesse La Tour, and more!
