I love this bridge while walking with a group and saw this perspective. I thought, I could do something with this. I worked it, finally dropping to the ground to accentuate the boardwalk. Weeks later, in a certain mood (from the smoky blues I’d been listening to) I began to feel my way through bringing this image to what I felt it could be. Long wonderful process. Accentuate, diminish, contrast. Dance with it. Light touches. Take it where I want it then drop back a touch. S...till later, (wanting to write you an explanation) I looked out a sweltering upstairs window through the slats and the just-sunk sun made the hazy sky entirely yellow brass. That is the feeling. Entirely different image. Same feeling. The process of writing is like the process of making the image. Do you understand?
