We are so appreciative to our Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors for their July 25, 2017 proclamation in memory of Dwain Kaiser. Special thanks to Supervisor Solis and Supervisor Kuehl for your support. #SupervisorHildaSolis #SupervisorSheilaKuehl

Thank you everyone that sent well wishes and especially to those of you that came by the store to pay your respects and/or to buy a book yesterday. There was so much love present. Thank you! We also had one of our busiest days for sales! Thank you for that too. We plan to be open for several hours today, Sunday, July 9, too. Many of you have asked what our hours will be? We will post our new hours as soon as we know them. We know, for certain, that we will be closed on Monday, as has been our custom in the past. Thank you again for your prayers and kind words and generosity.

We are all devastated by the death of Dwain Kaiser on Monday, July 3. He was beloved by all that came into contact with him. His widow, JoAnn Kaiser, is determined to keep the book store open and to continue Dwain's legacy. We ask for your prayers and support for this daunting task. If you would like to help, please feel free to contact JoAnn's son, Raymond Hino. His e-mail address is [email protected]
