This Saturday June 27th, we will be holding a car wash fundraiser at Hillside Supermarket from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Due to the Novel Coronavirus, we have been unable to host any fundraisers in 2020. The funds raised at this donation based event will go directly towards acquiring necessary safety equipment and supplies for Station 10 Firefighters. Don’t miss this opportunity to have your car washed by a Fire Engine! We look forward to seeing you there!

Good Morning, Tonight and Tomorrow, Station 10 will have multiple engines assisting with the fuel reduction project on the East side of Highway 41. We expect to complete burning from road 200 to the rocky cut area tonight, and should complete the next section to the Madera Canal Thursday evening. This is subject to change due to weather conditions and other factors. Further information, including expected road and travel conditions, can be obtained from the attached official CAL Fire statement. Thank you.

From all of us at Station 10, we hope you’re enjoying the holidays. Last week we were able to host a Christmas dinner with our families! Please remember to be safe, especially around the New Year’s Eve holiday! This month we have been focusing more of our training on auto extrication as we shift towards colder weather and more dangerous road conditions. Each fall we are donated vehicles for free to train on. In the first picture you can see one of our new tools, a high powered Sawzall that makes certain cuts much faster. In addition to the Sawzall we use what are commonly known as the Jaws of Life, which are a combination of Cutters, Spreaders, and a Ram.
