It has been quiet around these parts lately. We hit 10K and I never got to say THANK YOU to all our supporters, followers, friends, family and #mademarketfamily for getting us there by sharing, attending our events, being a vendor, being a sponsor and more!. . We have been doing a lot of celebrating lately! Celebrating lives lost, births, weddings, @mademarketsd, other amazing markets, and BIRTHDAYS!. . April has been quite the month! But this past weekend reminded me that l...ife is always growing, changing, faster than you can fathom. I have had the blessing of being this girls mama for 16 years! SIXTEEN!! I am crazy busy between being a wifey, a mom to my crazy kiddos (Sebastian, Hudson, and Izzy), a full time student at CSUSM, working a research assistant position, being part of a committee to bring a center for mindfulness onto campus, and owning and operating La Buena Vida Studio! Needless to say, I a...m stretched thin, but I know all the hard work will pay off!. . 2. La Buena Vida Studio all started when my friend's 11 month old daughter was diagnosed with cancer. I started stamping cuffs to sell so I could raise money for them. Fast forward a year and a half later, another friend was diagnosed with cancer. I started stamping cuffs again to raise money for him, but this time I set up a booth at a fundraiser. I then decided to just see where I could take this and started La Buena Vida Studio. That was less than a year ago! The response has been great and I am eager and excited to see where it goes from here!. . 3. I love to travel and see the world, I have actually been to more countries than I have states!. . 4. My son was recently diagnosed with a rare disorder that requires intense treatment and daily medications and eyedrops. He has his 4th surgery (since January) this Monday. Although it has been a hard adjustment, he is such a trooper and brave little guy (just turned 2) and I couldn't be more proud of how he has handled it all. . 5. One of the best parts of taking La Buena Vida Studio on the road has been meeting and interacting with other vendors!
