Made for Movement Pilates

The studio equipment has been rearranged in anticipation for the delivery of some new pieces. We are open for private sessions and look forward to expanding our in-person offerings to duets and trios soon. Online Mat classes will continue.

This is true in Pilates, too. Sometimes by going back to the basics, we can discover deeper connections needed to further our practice. It's an on-going process!

It's Joe's birthday. What a gift he gave us!

Thanks to the generosity of the Made for Movement community, our recent donation-based Mat class resulted in 27 coats donated to the Soroptimist coat drive. Thanks to everyone who participated!

We are supporting the Soroptimist International of Central Solano County's coat drive with a donation-based mat class at 5:30pm on Friday, November 20th. If you'd like to participate, let Mandy know. You will be registered for the class and given contact information for the donation. Warming up with Pilates and the chance to provide a child warmth with a new coat is a win-win!

Hopeful that the studio can open for privates and duets soon!

Made for Movement friends, in addition to the health benefits of Pilates, today's donation-based mat class provides the opportunity to help fire victims. The class is at 3:00pm. If you'd like to participate, please Venmo your donation ($10 minimum) Mandy-Bland-1 by 1:00pm. All donations will be passed on to the Vacaville Area Fire Victim Relief Go Fund Me account. Upon receipt of your donation, you will receive an email with the Zoom link for the class. (Evidence of the payment to the Go Fund Me account will be provided to those who request it.)

Made for Movement is offering a donation-based mat class tomorrow, Sunday Aug 23rd at 3:00pm to support the Vacaville City Firefighters Charity Fund. If you'd like to participate, please send a donation ($10 minimum) through Venmo to Mandy-Bland-1. After the donation is made, I will email the Zoom login for the class. All payments will be donated through Go Fund Me. Venmo payments must be made by 1:00pm tomorrow.

Per the govenor’s order, the studio must close down again. Stay well everyone, and stay tuned for online opportunities.

The studio will reopen on June 22nd. That's definitely something to celebrate!

So, in the midst of our Shelter in Place, this happened. Congratulations Barbara on completing your comprehensive Pilates teacher training!!! Your hard work and passion for Pilates has lead you to this amazing accomplishment. It's been an honor to witness your journey, and I'm looking forward to being back in the studio with you!

As the Shelter in Place order continues, so do private sessions and small-group classes. It's an honor to share my love of Pilates and its benefits during these challenging times.
