Congratulations to Fairfax County driver Donald McNair, for earning First Place in the Lytx Driver of the Year Awards. The awards honor the outstanding work of professional drivers and coaches currently utilizing the Lytx Driver Safety Program. During his five years with Fairfax County, McNair has never received a seat belt nor cell phone policy violation and has had a safe driving record for the past nearly 5 years.

April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month! Although traffic decreased significantly since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, distracted driving crashes are still at an all-time high. Talking on the phone, texting, using a navigation system, and eating while driving are a few examples of distracted driving. This month we’ll be sharing statistics, tips, and advice from fleets on how to help tackle this issue. Stay tuned!
