What a difference a year (well, technically a year and two months) can make:-)
Coming soon... M Magazine's 2014 holiday fashion editorial featuring GORGEOUS gowns by local designer Mimi Tran. And when I say gorgeous I really mean Drop Dead Stunning Distinctive Gorgeous that will make every head turn in your direction when you wear one of these gowns. Yeah, they're that awesome.
The multi-talented Kim Brown of KSB Design takes a turn in front of the lens in my brand new studio space.
My Great-niece :D
Yeah, he's super cute like that. A soon to be big brother steals the show at our photo session :-)
The French Revival fashion editorial I photographed for M Magazine's Spring 2014 issue just got published on the Heels and Bells fashion blog - check it out! http://heelsandbells.com//green-brand-ricochet-featured-o/
This is a very special M Magazine issue for me because I was able to contribute imagery for two editorial pieces AND photograph this months cover Mom and her oh-so-playfully adorable kids :-) A HUGE thanks to the incredibly talented team that helps organize and execute everything I do for M Magazine!
My niece. My muse :-) Happy Birthday, Annabel!!

I've spent my life trying to "justify" my decision to make a career out of my creative leanings instead of going for that stable, (*YAWN*) well-paying desk job. Since I'm a master at assuming and assimilating guilt I'm sure that mindset won't change anytime soon, but stories and images like this go a long way to reminding me of the value of creative expression and just how much depth and meaning it can bring into our lives. Check out the story and the accompanying imagery - you'll never look at men wearing pink tutu's the same way again ;-)
