Day 15 of #monthofthankfulness is my sweet Mother in Law. She passed away last year and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her. It just seems appropriate that November is also National Adoption Month. This beautiful lady took in a little baby that wasnt her own and made him into the incredible husband I have today. To each and every adoptive family, my heart fills with thankfulness for all you do for your children. #shanthig

Days 12 and 13 of #monthofthankfulness: I'm thankful for friends Friends who have loved on us so fiercely. Friends who have been where we are. Friends who have reached out and said whatever you need. Day 8 of #monthofthankfulness. Check me out today! We had what we thought was a minor flood here at home this week and it's turning into so.much.more!!! Please friends, pray for us. Day 7 of #monthofthankfulness: I'm not gonna lie. I'm struggling with thankfulness today. We're looking down the barrel of some rough days ahead and it's causing my anxiety to rocket into overdrive. So today, I'm thankful for Kleenex. Lots and lots of Kleenex.

Day 5 of #monthofthankfulness I'm thankful that I'm learning that self care is necessary. Sometimes it's a mani/pedi, sometimes it's a long bath, sometimes its eating fries in the car by myself. Whatever it is, however I can make it happen, I'm thankful that I'm learning to take care of me so I can take care of everything else. #motivationalmonday #shanthig
