ON THE BLOG | I'm finally getting around to publishing my 2021 weddings on my website! I can't wait to share the beauty and love that I witnessed last year. First up, we have Therese and David's Monterey microwedding. Therese and David had postponed their wedding several times and even had to change the date AGAIN once we found their new venue. They minimized their guest list to 13 people in order to keep everyone safe and get everything they could possibly want. With the help of some amazing vendors, we planned the wedding in three months site-unseen and it was a fairytale. Even the 20 mph winds stopped just in time for the ceremony! Viv and Coert They were the first of my postponed weddings when their March 2020 wedding got pushed, not knowing that they would go through two more dates after that. Finally, in July 2021 they got married! I’ve known Viv for years and was honored to coordinate their big day.

The Sunday Scaries are real today it’s also the first time in two weeks that I’m fully aware of what day it is... so I’ll just spend my Sunday going through 2019 wedding pics to get myself pumped for the 2021 weddings we have planned!

This weekend I got to spend the night with these two as official husband and wife! We watched Christmas movies, drank mulled wine, attempted a puzzle and made mediocre dairy free mac n cheese Alex’s waffle bar made up for it the next morning Alex and David eloped in Central Park NY last month but we are still planning their big 2021 wedding! 7.11.20 - what would have been Hayley and Derek’s wedding date. We should be laughing, dancing and toasting champagne but when life throws a curve ball you have no choice but to adapt. Hi friends! With weddings being rescheduled I’ve been working on a few new projects that I’m excited to share! First, I’ve started an @etsy shop that I’ll be adding to over the next few months. It’s been a week... actually it’s been a year (so far). There’s so much to say but few words to describe all the emotions we feel. What I can say is that I’m exhausted. Emotionally, mentally and physically after not only these past few months of uncertainty but also after some of the tough cards I’ve been dealt this year. What I can say is that my creativity is coming back. I’m ready for a blank slate and I’m so happy to have the BEST clients who are so optimistic and hopeful. I know brides and grooms hire wedding planners for guidance and reliability, but sometimes it’s a two way road. I am lucky to gain creativity and inspiration from my people

C H E E R S to vendors and families who are working together to maneuver the ever changing pandemic laws that are affecting so many engaged couples. It’s been a wild 2020 so far but it’s humbling to see how many vendors are being flexible and helpful with date changes. As @percysalesevents says, we’re in the industry of hospitality and love and that’s what we have to provide our clients, even in times of hardship. Happy 3 day weekend, everyone!
