Update on my (Rachel’s) appointment availability: As many of you have already learned, I became very ill from food poisoning on the Sunday following Thanksgiving (was tested 3 times for Covid and came back negative each time - 3rd test was a blood test, which was negative for antibodies, indicating no exposure). The severity of the poisoning and longevity of symptoms caused significant loss of appetite, weight loss and weakness. I’m slowly regaining my strength, but still wor...king at a limited capacity. I’m immune compromised now and particularly cautious about coming into contact with people not wearing masks (keeping a low profile). With each day, I do see small improvements. But, not nearly as fast as I’d prefer. I just want to apologize for not being able to get to many of my large dog clients (especially those with high energy and heavy undercoats) for such an extended amount of time. I would have never expected this illness to have lasted this long and am so looking forward to getting back to my high energy, joyful, full capacity level of work. I’ll keep folks updated on this page. To be clear, I’m extremely grateful to be able to work at all (even at a limited capacity). I’m also so very grateful for the many loving calls, texts and assistance I’ve received during all of this. Thank you all so much and may your New Year be overflowing with a completely renewed sense of Love, Joy, Compassion, Determination and Prosperity.
