Shades of Love

As we go into our weekend, let's keep in mind those in need and share a little love . Love no matter how small can make a difference in someone's outlook on life and in their day. Also keep in your hearts and prayers those who have been hit hard by the hurricanes. We are one nation of many people and we need to continually help each other as we face life's challenges and set backs. Be safe as you move throughout your day. Happy Friday and start to Labor Day Weekend! We received a thank you letter from the Women's Veterans Unity Group. They were the recipients of our independence bags of Love, in recognition and honor of their service to our country. I share this letter with you because you are apart of WE. We did this together. Hey Errbody! Sandwich Saturday will be on and poppin this weekend. Kim Dawson and I will be feeding the homeless throughout the IE, Saturday. We each have a responsibilty to those in need of who many have stop asking for help because they have just given up or are just too tired to make their voices heard. Shades of Love encouranges everyone to donate whatever little bit extra, after bills, taxes, and food, you have to your favorite charities or if you are at the check out at your fave fast food place and the cashier ask if you would like to donate a $1 to said charity, if you are able to, please do. Every little... bit helps. We are a community of souls that rely on each other to get through these sometimes long days and nights. Shades Of Love, thanks you for your continued support in helping us help those in need as well we keep you in our prayers as in your own way you help others. Our Women's Veterans update Last month our focus was to recognize the women veterans in the I.E. We wanted to honor them with independence bags as a thank you for serving to protect our freedoms. We had our challenges due to scheduling conflicts. We couldn't get the ladies in the same place all at once to show them love . Of course there are many more women who serve and from the bottom of our hearts we say thank you but tonight we honor the 20 women of Women's Veterans Uni...ty Group. Thank you ladies for your service. May your lives as well those who served with you be forever blessed for your unselfish sacrifice. We also want to thank those who are continuing to support Shades Of Love in our efforts to extend a little love to those sometimes overlooked and in need. Thank you! Thank you! Happy Saturday As you move through your day take advantage of the smallest opportunity to help someone in need. It maybe just acknowledging they exist by extending them a greeting of "Hello". When in the drive thru and they ask if you would like to donate a $1 to "said" charity, say yes this one time. If you are out parousing your community and see some trash, pick it up and toss it in the trash. We are community, and every little bit helps. Have an awesome weekend! Shades of Love

Shades of Love encourages everyone to get out into your community and volunteer an hour of your time to the service of others at your local mission, church, homeless shelter, etc. Your smile maybe the light in someone's dark room who needs a glimmer of hope.
