Love Costa Mesa

On October 3, 2020, we reimagined what our City-Wide Serve Day would look like for Love Costa Mesa Day, due to the uncertainty and required adaptation we faced with COVID-19. Despite all of this, our Love Costa Mesa Day 2020 was such a huge success! In the midst of figuring out how to resume hybrid school models and other pandemic chaos, 400 people showed up, all throughout Costa Mesa, to bless our Community. 25 projects happened on October 3 of 2020: some virtual, some low...-touch and some in person. They all blessed the community! Thank you to last year’s project leaders for all the care they put into preparing for volunteers. Thank you to our 2020 sponsors for partnering in this special day with us, whose financial support was key in the success of LCM Day 2020. A final thank you goes out to everyone who showed up to volunteer at a project. Volunteers who came together for this amazing event could have done a lot of things with their Saturday, but the projects have made a lasting impact on our city. Dick Church’s for Trellis Fundraising Night Wednesday, Oct. 7 5pm - 8pm A portion of the proceeds to benefit Trellis to help end homelessness in Costa Mesa.... An abbreviated menu of Dick's most popular items plus some breakfast choices will be available. Dick's will pay Trellis 15% of our gross sales and tax.

What a great day in #CostaMesa as volunteers throughout the community showed their at the annual #LoveCostaMesa city-wide serve day sponsored by the city's faith-based partner TRELLIS!

I took a detour on my way to the @lovecostamesa project at Fairview Park and ended up spending the morning with #FreedomHomes neighbors helping to clear out ove...rgrowth for an elderly neighbor. It felt great to get the work gloves on, and even better to connect with neighbors helping neighbors. Many had interest and ideas for ways to get more involved in neighbors helping neighbors and beautification projects. Thank you, @wearetrellis for organizing a great day of service! See more
