Bracing Technique video from Werner Paddles. Remember, never fall on to your board, as you can seriously injure yourself. If you fail at your attempt to brace yourself, fall away from your board.

Anybody been out on a board lately? Jumped in the Sacramento River and paddled upstream to Old Sacramento the other day. Almost had the river to myself, but a boater finally roared past and created some interesting rollers from the boat wake. Where and what are you riding? Love to meet others that are interested in exploring.

It's been a while. Spent Memorial Day on a board floating down the Russian River in Guerneville, CA. Great, friendly town, an easy day adventure, and a nice river!
