Los Encinos State Historic Park

Hey all! Staff has been seeing a whole lot of this around Los Encinos. This is a reminder to all visitors, safety is our number one priority and we rely heavily on the public’s due diligence to ensure a healthy and safe environment for all. **Please make sure y’all are wearing a mask, keeping a 6ft distance from other folks visiting and leaving no trace. **

Great week here at Los Encinos. Our EKO virtual school programs reached over 300 students this week.

In honor of Native American Heritage month, we recognize the rich diversity of Native American peoples. Since time immemorial, California Native Americans have ...stewarded these lands, building communities, and fostering rich cultures. This month we encourage the public to learn more about the people who first called this state and nation home, as we pause to reflect on their past, present, and future. Our California State Parks PORTS Distance Learning Program will have several opportunities for students/teachers to learn more about the Native American heritage and traditions in some of our parks such as Indian Grinding Rock SHP, Patrick’s Point State Park and Pismo State Beach.
