I am very saddened to hear of the passing of one of the Fathers of STEM Education, Dr. Woodie Flowers, Professor at MIT.. He is probably the most caring and kin...dest man I have ever met. He cared for everyone. His dream was to make more people in this country, and the world, appreciate Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics and make it fun and challenging. He is one of the calmest persons I have ever known and he loved to listen to new ideas. He loved to talk to kids about robots and projects they had designed and engineered and he always had time for everyone. He would preach that you can be Creative, Competitive and Kind at the same time.. He called it "GRACIOUS PROFESSIONALISM" he once said, "Creative activity is one of the few self-rewarding activities, Being Creative is like being in Love." We will miss you Woodie Flowers, you truly left an impression on this world. See more
