We are excited to welcome back our members to indoor fitness Monday 3/22! Ventilation will be a key feature. Fortunately the 7th / 6th floor of our clubhouse was designed with 73 windows that open into one continuous space. In addition our outdoor gym Hercules Beach will remain open as an option and will continue to be the location of our group exercise classes.

The return of indoor fitness is near! On Monday 3/22 we are planning to open indoors including the 8th floor courts for individual drills, the 7th floor fitness & the basketball court for individual shooting. Full details will be emailed to members next week.

Pickleball is one of the fastests growing sports in the country. The sport combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Give it a try! Ask to check out the paddles at the 6th floor entrance after your group exercise class or workout reservation.

Our updated 1st floor lobby welcomes members staying in the hotel, and using private office rooms, shared workspace, the lobby shop, physical therapy and barbershop services. Time for a change of workplace scenery! Shared workspace in the Olympic Lounge will open to members considered essential workers on Monday Oct 5. Hours will be 9 am - 8 pm Mon - Fri. Temperature check and all other required distancing and cleaning measures are in place for Office Worksites.

Today we honor former LAAC member, Vicki Manalo Draves, for her winning moment at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London. Draves was a Filipino- American diver who made history as the first woman to take home gold in both the Platform and Springboard events. As a member of the Club she inspired other super star divers in the making, such as Pat McCormick. Her husband, Lyle Draves was also a coach at LAAC. ...
