We’re half-way to our $10,000 Community Care Campaign goal. The SEED Community Care Campaign supports basic needs for families impacted by the pandemic and our bilingual family engagement program. As a way to celebrate community, we’re bringing you a special opportunity to enter into a drawing for 2 socially-distanced picnic packages (each for 4-6 people). Each $25 increment will be counted as a separate entry! Picnic boxes can be delivered across the Bay Area on a date of yo...ur choosing! We’re launching our Spring Community Care Campaign today! And I’m asking you to consider donating a tax-deductible portion of your stimulus check to Manzanita SEED in support of our goal to raise $10,000. $6,000 for the Family Coordinator role funding gap + $4,000 to support basic needs for SEED families impacted by the pandemic. Misty Waters, our Family Coordinator, has been tirelessly working to coordinate meals, internet access, childcare, and other basic needs for our families who have either contracted COVID, or have been negatively impacted because of COVID. By donating federal stimulus money to support Misty’s position and basic needs for SEED families, you are ensuring that SEED families and our community receive vital support when they are most in need.

We did it!! We raised over $7500 for seed kids and families! Thank for for donating and sharing with your circle! We were able to purchase over 30 32G Fire Tablets for students. We are working on obtaining internet for a year for these families so they can access online leaning. Thanks for your support of our families and community!
