We understand these are difficult times we are f...acing and know that food insecurity is a real issue, especially right now. High Desert Second Chance is here to be of service. PLEASE SAY A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS COMING OUT TO SERVE OUR COMMUNITY! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!! FREE Drive thru distribution! Not necessary to get out of your cars. We will have registration volunteers coming down the line of car's to sign you in just as we did our USDA DISTRIBUTION. VALID ID REQUIRED!!! OPEN MARKET SECTION WILL BE OPEN. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO UTILIZE OUR MARKET YOU WILL NEED TO PARK AND PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING WHEN LINING UP. MASK IS REQUIRED!!! We will require you to have a VALID ID to register. Everyone will receive a ticket at registration and will be put onto your windshield at time of registration. You will drive through to loading station and volunteers will load you at that point. Please do not get out of your vehicles, direct the volunteers to where you would like items loaded. Address: 16666 Smoke Tree St Bldg B#4 Hesperia Time: 9am-12pm. Last person in line at 12pm will be given a CLOSED sign. We will serve until the last person with the CLOSED sign has been served. Please be patient as our clientele has grown 125% in the last few weeks. We will get through this together! Be patient, be kind, be compassionate towards all but especially our volunteers who are working hard to assist you of their own free will. Below is a list of all items you will receive, first come basis or until we run out. FOOD LINE IS FREE, OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY AND ANYONE IN NEED. Un anciano de 83 años, no tiene una parte de uno de los pulmones, cojeando, con problemas en la cadera, orando bajo la lluvia en una plaza completamente vacía, ayudando a cargar en la espalda el peso de toda una humanidad. Incluso siendo insultado por muchos, visiblemente abatido, nos de un ejemplo tan hermoso de amor y esperanza, confiando en Jesús, y clamando a Dios por nosotros... el Señor no estaba solo, la plaza estaba vacía, pero al mismo tiempo tan llena , porque nuest...ro corazón y nuestras oraciones estaban orientados allí. Jamás en toda mi vida olvidaré este día: 27 de marzo de 2020. En un país desolado por el virus con miles de muertos, en medio de tanto dolor, una escena que trae esperanza y luz, ante el crucifijo milagroso que ya salvó a Roma de la peste hace unos años. Larga vida a nuestro querido y bendecido papa Francisco... Estoy seguro de que Dios que es tan misericordioso oirá el clamor de su pueblo por el fin de la pandemia
