Yesterday we spent some time with family and friends enjoying our freedoms and liberties. May we always remember those that laid it all down so we can work to be a better society together! Thank you God for all you do for us, Amen!

In all history, there has been only one nation like America founded by pilgrims seeking freedom to worship, dedicated to the proposition that we are created equal and endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights.... You have delivered us in war, prospered us in peace, and raised up generations willing to offer the last full measure of their devotion for the preservation of liberty at home and abroad. We have been a light for the world. But now, America has fallen into darkness, disobedience, and indifference. We have sinned; and we, Your people, Lord, humble ourselves, and pray and seek Your face, and turn from our wicked ways. Please forgive our sin and heal our land. May the torch of liberty continue to burn brightly, inflamed by the goodness of Your people. Amen, and Amen! - Dr. David Jeremiah https://www.facebook.com/events/445664382938536/

Is It Safe To House Hunt During the Coronavirus Crisis? * When it comes to buying a home, pairing up with the right agent is always key to finding your perfect property. But today, you need one who is tech-savvy and comfortable conducting meetings and business online. * Crowded open houses with a plate of cookies for everyone to grab are a thing of the pastat least for now. Instead, you've got virtual open houses and video tours.... * work with a loan officer who is set up to work remotely * At a remote home inspection, inspectors take a lot more pictures than they might have in the past so clients can get a good idea of where the issues are. * So while home buyers will probably have to show up on closing day, it will look far different from the past.

Should I Buy a House During the Coronavirus Crisis? * This is the best buyer's market I have ever seen in my career, says Ryan Serhant of Nest Seekers and Bravo’s "Million Dollar Listing New York." * "Buyer and seller consultations have transitioned to virtual meetings with success," says Kate Ziegler, a real estate agent with Arborview Realty in Boston.... * On the flip side, putting a property under contract now and locking in a low interest rate gives a buyer some control at a time of relative uncertainty, adds Turner. * The takeaway from all this? It matters more than ever to get pre-approved for a mortgage, to calculate your home-buying budget accurately.

Siri Who? How to Get Famous People to Navigate Your Directions You've probably talked to Siri, Assistant, or Alexa at some point, or had your route to a destination narrated by Android Assistant or Siri. Their voices are calming, pleasant, and easy to listen to, which is by design. You might find that you want to change it up, get a new voice, or have a celebrity navigate your trip with their trademark catchphrases. Making this change is as easy as going into the settings on ...your device and finding the sound and/or voice option. Not all apps have celebrity voices, but Tom Tom, Waze, and Garmin all have the option to change the voice and sometimes offer a celebrity option. Something to note with the celebrity voices is that they come and go. You can use the voices for as long as the app allows, but licensing issues means that the voices don't stick around for long. There are some voices that you can use for as long as you have the app downloaded, but you will likely have to pay a fee. Whether you're seeking to catch the celebrity voice of the moment or just want a change, you'll find it with a little digging down into the settings. It's fun to be told what to do when you're driving by a celebrity or have a response to your question in a voice other than the standard one. Source: 9to5Google

The bathroom is a place that collects clutter readily due to its small size and the fact we do a lot of personal care in there. Some people use a lot of products to get ready for the day, some let towels stay on the floor, and sometimes the cause is just lazy habits that go on for too long. Whatever the cause, there's a solution. Make it a point to put personal care products away after they're used. Bag cosmetics into appropriate storage, put away the razors, store hairspray ...in the medicine chest or under the sink, and take towels out of the bathroom when it's time to launder them. If dirty clothes are kept in the bathroom, don't let them lie on the floor. Instead, keep a hamper in the bathroom and make sure everything gets put into it. If storage space is an issue, you can make use of vertical space and the corners of the bathtub. Use shelving that hangs on the wall and doesn't stick out too far. You want to be able to close or open the door fully at all times. The corners of the tub are perfect for putting in shelving poles that use tension to hold them in place. You get additional shelving space for your soaps, lotions, and potions without sacrificing room in the tub. Source: Simple Lionheart Life

The new year is still fresh, and there's plenty of time to take a good look at your plans for success or just reaching the goals you set for yourself. Are you looking to lose 20 pounds by the end of the year? Or do you want to make more money this year? Whatever your goals might be, you need to make a plan of action to achieve them. Goals can't be reached if you don't put in some kind of effort to get them rolling. Sitting in your chair and thinking a la Don Draper is just pa...rt of the process. Remember, even Don Draper would get up out of his chair and put his plans into action. Daily habits and routines are a large part of what keeps people from meeting their goals. Doing the same thing day in and day out has its comforts and keeps anxieties at bay. You don't worry about where the next dollar is coming from if you're gainfully employed, and it is easy to feel content. The problem with this is that you don't have enough stimulation to change. Think about what you could achieve if you got that big promotion and use this as a stimulus to help you make that step forward. Looking at your habits in this fashion works for just about every goal you set for yourself. Make the changes, don't be afraid of them, and don't look down as you make the leap forward. Life is what you make of it, and only you have the power to make it what you want. Take opportunities for change as they come, find new outlooks, and take new paths when they become obvious. Sitting still only serves to hold you back and keep you from reaching your true potential. Source: LifeHack

Credit cards make it easy to spend money and buy things that you would otherwise have to forgo until you have the cash. They're a line of credit you have in your wallet that you can tap into at any moment. But, credit cards come at high rates of interest that increase your balance at an alarming rate if you don't pay it off right away, and the interest rates can fluctuate when you least expect them to. A little-known fact is that the credit card companies will negotiate your ...interest rate, and you don't need a third party to help you. All it takes is a phone call, patience, and willingness to keep asking or take "no" for an answer. Credit card companies want to keep you as a customer, provided you've been responsible with making payments, and they sometimes give their customer service agents some leeway to negotiate a lower interest rate. Each credit card issuer is different when it comes how they handle a request for a lower interest rate. You may be required to keep up with your payments for a period of time before or after an interest rate reduction. Sometimes the company looks at how long you've been a customer and lowers your rate as a reward for loyalty. Do your research before you pick up the phone and call. The more you know about the process, the more likely your request will be granted. And if your request is denied, ask what you need to do to get that interest rate lowered. As always, if you are in the process of buying a home be sure to speak with your loan officer before opening, closing, or updating any lines of credit. Source: Credit Karma

As 2020 begins to unfold, many Americans across the nation are gainfully employed with an Unemployment Rate currently at a 50-year low of 3.6%. Expectations are for the index to push even lower to 3.25% by year-end, matching lows last seen in 1953. A recent report from the National Federation of Small Businesses showed that optimism among small business owners is just below all-time highs. Also, employers continue to search for qualified workers to fill key positions. Further...more, business owners are expecting increased sales and earnings, and higher wages for employees ... all strong points to ensure that recent positive momentum for housing will continue in the months ahead. The Census Bureau recently reported that the homeownership rate rose to 65.1% at the end of 2019, the highest level since December 2013. The Fannie Mae Home Purchase Sentiment Index is near all-time highs reflecting that it is a good time to both buy and sell a home. The New York Federal Reserve announced that $750 billion in new mortgages were originated in Q4 2019, more than any quarter since Q4 2005. And why have these positive factors come into play? A strong labor market! Those factors alone would be enough to keep the housing market running on all cylinders, but throw in ultra-low mortgage rates and you have a recipe for sustained momentum as we move further into 2020 and approach the all-important spring homebuying season. But don't be complacent. There is a sense of urgency to capture these rates while they remain at historically low levels because rates can move up fast. In its recent report, Realtor.com says this spring homebuying season may be the last to see gains to affordability in quite a while. "The low mortgage rate environment continues to spur homebuying activity, with applications to purchase a home up 15% from a year ago," said Sam Khater, Freddie Mac's chief economist in its latest mortgage rate survey. "We've seen new residential construction surge over the last few months, on pace to reach the highest level in more than a decade. This is a good sign for the inventory-starved housing market and is a promising indication for the spring homebuying season."

Let's Celebrate Women of Great Faith! Today is International Women’s Day. So many women around the globe are faithful witnesses for Christ, working hard for their families and praying without ceasing.
