It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program.....currently Christmas Wrapping Headquarters!! This is just a portion of the gifts going to local Skilled Nursing facilities this Christmas!! More wrapping to come!!

Many of you have seen posts about the amazing outpouring of our local merchants and community that has allowed the LTCO program to purchase gifts for every resident in our local nursing homes - but I need to also do a shout out to the other "hero" who even came up with this idea.....when she first mentioned the idea to me, in October, as Program Manager, I sort of thought it was too late to do something, thinking our Community is so stretched they couldn't or wouldn't be able to meet our goals...yet she stuck to her idea and I said "fine, if you think you can pull this off, go ahead"....she did and we accomplished her goal and dream....so a huge shout out and THANK YOU to Leanne Langston.......her love for seniors shines through in everything she does......

Our Santa for a Senior Program has been overwhelming!! The community has been fantastic in sending in donations! We are going to be able to purchase a gift for EVERY resident in our Skilled Nursing Facilities! A huge thankyou to those that have mailed in gift cards and checks! Shout outs to Pierson's Building Supply, Rite Aid and Happy Donuts!! ALL of you have made this holiday gift giving project for our seniors a huge success!!

Thank you Pierson's, RiteAid, Happy Donuts and all who were so generous so EVERY nursing home resident will receive a Holiday Gift to let them know they are not forgotten.
