Mr. Robinson’s Chemistry class explored metallic salts yesterday, to excite electrons and allow them to fall back to their ground state. These photons of light create a very similar concept to how fireworks get their fantastic colors.

SAHS student Isabella Martin was one of the first SCUBA students to be certified at the beginning of this school year. She recently dove 25 feet down and studied Calico Bass as seen pictured.

This past Saturday, Baseball held a SAHS Alumni Baseball Game against the 2022 Varsity Team! Thank you to everyone who came out and played and those who watched. It was a great afternoon.

Over the weekend, our SAHS Cheer Team took first place in their division and were grand champions of the entire competition! Great job, ladies!

An exciting day in St. Anthony High School History! Demolition has begun for our Athletic Complex. Thank you to all of those who have contributed to making this day possible!

Early this morning, our SAHS community came together to participate in Las Mañanitas to honor Our Lady of Guadalupe with the Latino Heritage Club and the Spanish Department. Prayers, the reenactment of Juan Diego, mariachis, concha’s, champurado, and tamales were among the morning festivities and food!

On Saturday, the Arts Department came together for the Annual Christmas Showcase! SAHS Band, Theatre II/III, Technical Theatre, Puppetry Club, and Dance Team all performed! The student's artwork was also on display. It was a fantastic afternoon!

SAHS Faculty, Staff, and Students all celebrated the Feast of the Immaculate Conception with Bishop Trudeau presiding yesterday. What a fantastic way to continue our Advent journey together as a community.

Seniors! LBCC is hosting a virtual visit just for SAHS seniors on Tuesday, November 10th at 2:30pm via Zoom. The presentation will cover the Long Beach Promise, the honors program, and athletics. Following the presentation, LBCC will be hosting an application workshop as well!

SAHS Campus Ministry's Liturgy & Retreat team along with Mr. Mascaro led the Virtual Freshman Retreat this past Friday! The retreat included a talk from Senior, Sarah Attia!

Last Thursday, our Freshmen and their families had an opportunity to come together in prayer to celebrate mass as a community. Thanks to the Campus Ministry class for leading this mass for our Freshmen families!
