Did you know Rancho Los Alamitos was built approximately over 200 years ago in 1806 and is one of the oldest Mexican adobe ranch houses in the state! This morning our Housing & Neighborhood Services team planted seven Chitalpa trees in North Long Beach! The team will be planting 16 more drought-resistant trees in the surrounding area! #ShapingLB #IDigLB are funded by grants from CAL FIRE and the Port of Long Beach

Grants are available for Long Beach City restaurants, bars, breweries, distilleries, and wineries to assist with expenses associated with operating outdoors. Eligible businesses have until next Monday, Dec. 28 to submit a Prequalification Form. Grants will be given on an eligible, first-come-first-serve basis.
