Auto-Dialer Message from Ms. Berry about Yearbooks from Last Year: Good evening Lone Tree families. Tomorrow September 4th , from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM we will have our final yearbook distribution day in front of the school’s main office. 5th graders that are going to 6th grade for the 2020-2021 school year can come to Lone Tree to pick up a free yearbook if they were not able to attend the last yearbook distribution day. Students in grades K-4 that pre-ordered a yearbook can also pick it up during this time. If you did not pre-order a yearbook, but are interested in purchasing one there will be a limited supply that will be sold on a first come first serve basis. The cost of the yearbook is $25. 8/27/2020 Auto Dialer Message from Ms. Berry: Good evening Lone Tree families. I hope that you are doing well. The 2020-2021 school year will begin on September 1st in the form of distance learning. Please go to the Lone Tree website or FB page to see the Welcome Back Letter that contains information about registration and laptop checkouts. Every child that is attending Lone Tree for the 2020-2021 school year will need to pick up an orientation packet and complete it on or ...before the scheduled Welcome Back/Drive Thru day for their grade level. Families can pick up an orientation packet from the table that is located outside in front of the office between 9:00 AM-3:00 PM Monday through Friday. The orientation packet should be completed and returned on Tuesday, 9/1 between 8:30 AM-11:30 AM for grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th and on 9/2 between 8:30 AM-11:30 AM for Kinder, 1st, and 2nd grades. Once the packet is returned, your child will be given his/her teacher’s name, a bag of supplies, and instructional material. If you are not able to pick up the orientation packet and complete it ahead of time, please plan to show up on the scheduled day for your child’s grade level and complete it at that time. However, completing it ahead of time will speed up the process. Beginning tomorrow, September 28th, the kindergarten teachers will be contacting families of our incoming Kinders to schedule virtual Kinder assessments for the week of August 31st. The Kinder parent student orientation will be scheduled for September 8th. Kinder teachers will send out a link that will include the date and time for you to join. On Wednesday, September 3rd, teachers in grades 1-5 will have a virtual parent student orientation with you and your child. Your child’s teacher will send out a link that will include the date and time for you to join.
