Please provide your input to Jeremy.

As you probably know Lompoc had the first officer involved shooting in 5 years. A young man of 26 born in Lompoc, Krys Ruiz, a transgender man lost his life. While the details of the incident are being investigated by the SB County Sheriff's department, we wish we could have helped to support his journey. Our hearts go out to his family and friends. If you care to help with funeral expenses there is a fund page. Contact me at [email protected] if you want me to send the link to you. [email protected] Please do not send me a note through messenger, I will not see it.

For those who signed up for a ballot for the ADEM Election in Assembly District 35 - ballots must be returned by Jan. 27. Please seriously consider the candidates we are promoting so that there is wider representation from all of AD35 including Northern SB County (Santa Maria/Lompoc) and Northern SLO County - candidates from Paso. Other candidates and their info will be on the ballot. You have a total of 14 candidates you will be able to vote for. Please leave a message when you receive your ballot. Waiting for ballots. Because of California’s Democratic leadership, we’ve been able to consistently expand voting rights, which means that as long as your ballot is postmarked by November 3 or dropped off in a voting drop box by 8:00 p.m, your vote will be counted.
