Haven't posted anything in a while so here's a lil sneak peak of a painting I'm working on. It originated from a drawing that I created that's a mixture of "The cat in the hat" (Dr. Seuss) & "Alice in Wonderland". This is part of my "Kuriositrees" series (2017) of paintings featuring cats and trees. There's a lot of layers that go into painting something like this. I'm definitely changing it along the way and it's going to include more characters and ideas from these two amazing inspiring stories.
