LBA Giants 19u jumped out to an early lead over NorCal Valley and took home a 5-2 victory on Sunday. LBA Giants 19u scored on a triple by Cameron Schubert in the first inning, a double by Rene Rodriguez in the first inning, a walk by Zach Trull in the second inning, and a single by Rodriguez in the second inning. LBA Giants 19u and Aggies Baseball traded the lead back-and-forth on Sunday, but eventually LBA Giants 19u prevailed 7-6. LBA Giants 19u took the lead for good in the seventh inning. The game was tied at six with LBA Giants 19u batting in the top of the seventh when #21 induced Diego Ramirez to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. LBA Giants 19u defeated Lincoln 2-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Dominic Duran struck out #8 to finish off the game. The pitching was strong on both sides. LBA Giants 19u pitchers struck out ten, while hurlers for Lincoln sat down five. One bright spot for Lincoln was a single by #3 in the fourth inning....
