Life on a dairy can be hard Don’t get me wrong... we love what we do. Taking care of these animals is unbelievably rewarding, and we truly do our very best. Unfortunately, sometimes we lose one, and sometimes, she’s an extra special one. We lost our sweet April so very recently, and now we lost another extra special girl. 2020 has just been rough. . . This is Dolly... Nevin’s favorite. She has been by his side (literally right by his side) since day 1 of Lemos Jerseys in 2...017. She was one of the very first cows brought to his dairy, and had a special way about her from the first day we met her. She loved Nevin, and made sure she was in the right place at the right time, to get his full attention. (She even got a little jealous when he gave others attention before her) His daily routine will not be the same with her not in it... . .
