"Microsoft needs to get their **** together." ^^^This. The problem for me, as an IT professional, is that I still recommend that updates be installed religiously. With Windows, you really have to. So many updates are security-related.... But when someone tells me they don't regularly install Windows updates out of fear that something will break, I completely understand. https://www.forbes.com//microsoft-windows-10-warning-cra/

Entercom is America's second-largest radio group, behind iHeartMedia. The company owns and operates well over 200 radio stations nationwide. After acquiring the stations, intellectual property and other assets of CBS Radio, including Radio.com, they started branding all of their stations as "Radio.com stations" and heavily promoting the Radio.com website and mobile app. Yesterday, I received an email from the company informing me of this data breach. The email advised me to m...onitor my credit. Since I've never given CBS or Entercom any payment information, or any sensitive personal information at all, I'm not too worried about my credit, but you may want to monitor yours. It may be a good idea to contact each of the three big credit bureaus and put a freeze or "hold" on credit inquiries (I'm sorry - I don't recall the industry term). Just keep in mind that people legitimately attempting to check your credit history won't be able to pull data from the big three bureaus until you've called into each bureau to release the hold. Here in the Los Angeles metro, the company owns and operates these stations: Los Angeles: KNX 1070 K-Earth 101 AMP 97.1 93.1 Jack FM 94.7 The Wave KROQ 106.7 Inland Empire (Riverside): K-FROG - 95.1 and 92.9 Entercom also owns radio stations in Palm Springs and San Diego. [My opinion: Ransomware is 100% avoidable, in most cases. Basic steps need to be taken to avoid getting yourself into trouble. Much of the time -- probably MOST of the time -- a ransomware incident is caused by simple carelessness.] EDIT: You should reset your password regardless, even if you haven't given personal information to the company.
