Your invisible aligners are meant to be just that - invisible. Let’s keep it simple: here are 3 hacks for date night with Invisalign: Be prepared. Take your aligners out when you first arrive at the restaurant, so you don’t have to worry about taking them out when your food arrives. You can purchase small tools online to make the aligner removal process quick. Set a timer. Set an alarm on your phone to remind you to put your aligners back in. With the recommended daily ...wear of invisible aligners at a staggering 22 hours a day, it’s important to remember to put your aligners back in after eating. Travel light. Take a travel kit with you to the restaurant that includes your aligner case, a travel toothbrush and toothpaste, and a plastic flosser. As tempting as it is to stick your aligners back in after a meal without brushing your teeth, doing so can increase your risk for cavities. Don’t stress about your aligners, and remember that the best accessory you can wear is a smile.
